We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Director to join our team at NIHI Sumba. This individual will play a key role in the management of our F&B operations, delivering exceptional service that is consistent with our reputation as a luxury resort.

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct all aspects of the food and beverage operations, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation.
  • Establish and implement standards of service and oversee the execution to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs and processes that reduce short and long-term operating costs and increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with chefs and culinary staff to design and constantly innovate our food and beverage menus.
  • Manage team performance, recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage facilities and equipment are kept clean and maintained in line with the hotel's health and safety policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments and establish good relationships with all staff.
  • Forecast and manage the F&B budget.
  • Monitor customer reviews and feedback, respond professionally to feedback, and make necessary improvements.
  • Remain updated about the latest trends in the hospitality and F&B sectors and integrate these into our operations where appropriate.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service and driving sales.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • High level of business acumen and familiarity with industry best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of various cuisines, wines, and beverages.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
  • Well-versed in safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
